The Martin Walton House welcomes individual homeschool families and groups.  We do group homeschool days for free, by appointment, and are happy to focus on specific or broad periods of American History, based on the availability of our lead historian.

The museum is ONLY OPEN to individual homeschool families and is available for:

• learning and tours

• crafts

• free use of resources

on the THIRD FRIDAY of EVERY month, YEAR-ROUND.  

feel free to e-mail the historian in advance if you'd like to arrange help with a lesson or a more engaging experience.

We also are happy to offer History and English tutoring, for a fee, at the high school or college level in 2025.  

Tutoring is free for those majoring in history.
